I was born in Manizales (Colombia) in 1978 and I was adopted at the age of 13 months, and was then that I arrived and lived in Lugano, Switzerland.
I spent my childhood and adolescence life in Lugano (Breganzona). I then studied in Locarno for my Commerce Diploma, after which I moved to Brighton (UK) from 1998-2000, where I lived to study for the Cambridge CAE, CPE and TOEFL Diploma.
Back in Lugano I studied for a B.A. in International Communications (Franklin University Switzerland 2004) and a M.A. in Education and Training (Università della Svizzera italiana 2007). For my final thesis I spent three months in Japan (Kanazawa).
Since 2008 I work for Municipality of Lugano, through various departments, and this is also the year I started travelling alone, especially in Asia.
Since 2013 with my family, we are supporting an orphanage in Kathmandu, Nepal, which I regularly visit twice a year.
In 2016 I attended specialized courses in the Cooperation and Development field, organized by the Swiss Italian ONGS Federation in collaboration with the Swiss Italian Professional University.
Since end of 2018 I started working on this amazing project in my time off: Swiss Help Nepal!
